Journey to Azad Kashmir

Azad Kashmir  is the center of attention of domestic and foreign tourists due to its beautiful valleys and beautiful scenery. A group of 40 people included me went to Azad Kashmir on October 2 the first trip of  without children  to Azad Kashmir   We had lunch at Klar Kahar. At 11 o'clock in the night when we reached Muzaffarabad, it was raining heavily. Due to heavy rain, the journey was long. Muzaffarabad which is the capital of Azad Kashmir is a big city and also has a beautiful valley. After breakfast we started our journey towards Neelum valley. According to the driver, the people of Azad Kashmir and Jammu used to meet each other but now they cannot meet even though the villages are facing each other.

Since there were all the women in the journey, the fatigue of the journey was lessened by gossiping. The journey from Muzaffarabad to Karen is 3 hours as the road is not wide, otherwise it may be shorter. At one point, a line of vehicles came in the opposite direction. The driver skillfully pushed the vehicle backwards and onto the side, thus giving way to trucks and vehicles loaded with heavy rocks, otherwise two vehicles could not cross the road at the same time. Take pictures and videos. The network does not work here, only the S-work runs locally. About 15 minutes from Karen is Upper Neelam, a beautiful valley.

The colorful wooden houses and high mountains add to its beauty in the upperlam. Jammu and Kashmir is on the other side of the mountain. According to the locals, the sound of firing often comes from here. We left our luggage in the hotel and went for a walk in the valley. Received and ordered not to leave without drinking tea which we could not avoid. Sitting outside on the porch in the light rain and enjoying tea, his mother, who was very good-natured, also talked to him. Exactly 8 days later, the sad news came that Arooj's mother had died due to a brain stroke. After that I miss a big hospital there. The Neelum Valley stretches for 144 km. After breakfast left Upper Neelam for Sharda. The journey is also 2 hours. But due to road congestion, it took 3 hours.

Along the way he saw many sheep and goats, huge herds of horses and mules which can be seen in many places. These animals are also the livelihood of the local people. They are raised and sold on sacrifice. About three hours later, a boat trip to the river with hot potato prathas was offered and many more seasons were spent.Arriving at the hotel after a difficult 10 minute journey by jeep, there was a beautiful view of the surroundings of the hotel with colorful wooden houses on one side and blue water of Neelum river on the other side due to which it may have been named as Neelum river. A bonfire was arranged at the hotel premises at night in which Kashmiri tea was also served.

The next day, after breakfast, they returned to the riverbank from where they had gone to university. Some people sailed again. Suddenly the clouds came and it started to rain. Half of our group was in another hotel because one hotel had a capacity of 25 people. Enjoying the beautiful weather in Hussain Valley, we left for Muzaffarabad.Walnuts were bought at the request of all the people and they came to a hotel and drank tea and ate at Muzaffarabad Hotel at 6 pm.

In this trip, I would like to draw the attention of the government to a few things. Roads should be widened and made more comfortable for the promotion of tourism so that domestic and foreign tourists can enjoy the beautiful scenery here without any hesitation. The network does not operate beyond Muzaffarabad, only the Scom SIM local network operates there. It is also worth mentioning here. The livelihood of the local people is only sheep, goats and timber which should not be wasted. In order to improve the conditions of the people here, education and skills need to be developed so that they can get good employment opportunities and develop. Let's move together. Let's support the Kashmiri brothers together and eradicate the widespread poverty so that this valley becomes even more beautiful and beautiful.
