Muhammad Ali: The first diabetic boxer in British history

Today I am going to talk about a great man who not only defeated diabetes with his hard work but also forced the British Boxing Board to give him a license to fight professionally.

Muhammad Ali is a British boxer of Pakistani origin and his parents are from Crore Lal Aisan Tehsil of Leh District.Ali had applied for a boxing license in 2015, but the British Boxing Board refused to grant him a license because of diabetes because at that time, according to board rules, no diabetic boxer could obtain a professional license.Ali, with the help of an experienced team, challenged the boxing board and together with good friends staged a peaceful protest against the decision and eventually the board had to license him.Ali has also opened the door for other diabetic boxers.Muhammad Ali was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of five and felt weak. When his parents took him to the hospital, doctors told him he had diabetes. He started playing sports at the age of five but at the age of twelve he decided to become a boxer.

Ali applied to become a professional boxer in 2015, but the British Boxing Board rejected his application, saying he did not license type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Ali was heartbroken to hear this unfair decision from the board and was deeply saddened because he was physically fit and a good boxer. In this difficult time, Asad Shamim (who is now Ali's manager) told Ali not to give up and to challenge the board.Ali challenged the board with the help of Dr. Ian Gillian, Asad Shamim and his trainer Alex Matveenko, and after almost three years of continuous hard work, succeeded in obtaining a professional license. He is the first diabetic boxer in British history to receive a professional license. He also made the boxing board think that if a diabetic boxer is physically fit, they should have no hesitation in licensing him.

Muhammad Ali achieved a historic victory in the first professional fight. Ali defeated Andreas Sapper at Manchester Victoria Warehouse on September 15, 2018 in his first professional fight. He played all round with the best strategy and defeated his opponent by 36-40 points.Ali's second professional fight will also take place on November 17, 2018 at the Manchester Victoria Warehouse.

Appeal for support from Muslim and Pakistani community

In an interview, Asad Shamim said: "We have not received any significant support from our own community and if we get proper support from our people then Ali will be encouraged and will play a key role in success. I think so. That we need to promote our people instead of looking for each other's faults and that is the only way we can move forward as a nation. "

The result of the word

Muhammad Ali is a great boxer who overcame all obstacles in his path with constant struggle and gave us the message that never give up. It is our moral duty to support them so that they can further brighten the name of the country and the nation.
