7 Content-Marketing Tricks

for money saving

Content marketing is one of the most popular and cost-effective strategies, but it can be costly. To implement a high-quality strategy, you will need to invest heavily in your own staff or experienced external firms capable of doing excellent work.
There are some money-saving tricks you can use to cut costs without sacrificing the quality of your campaign, but you won't find too many people talking about them - either because they don't want to share their secrets or because they can be misused and used in the wrong way.
I've found the following seven strategies incredibly helpful, and I hope you will too:

1. Reuse your old content

Reusing your old content can drive many people to your blog or earn you more than its share of conversions. So why not reclaim that power by republishing this content?
You can't repost the same article every month and hope to see new results. But there are viable options. If you wait at least a year before resubmitting, you will probably get away with full disclosure. If you're reposting before then, consider changing the title, rearranging the inner sections, and editing the body content to make it look like a new article. Just ensure you keep the URL where the article is published, or you risk losing any SEO value the article has built up.

2. Change your content in new media

If you have a successful article on your blog, change the idea that this article will appear in different media. For example, you can turn the data in your article into an infographic or walk through some of the main points in a video. You can even use your article as a chapter in a larger e-book or break it up into snippets that you can use on social media – like tweets or Facebook posts.

3. Don't just post your content; support it to success

Brainstorming ideas, creating content, editing it, and publishing it are just steps to success in content marketing, but many marketers think their job is done once it's published. For starters, showcase your content on all your primary social media channels. You can post paid ads, do influencer marketing, submit it to Reddit and StumbleUpon, and create internal links to them, among many promotion options.

4. Create a monthly series

You can save time (and, therefore, money) by creating a monthly series that you can turn into templates for future work. For example, you could highlight a different influencer in your industry each month or have a "101" series that explains essential topics to newbies. First, of course, you will need to discuss new topics, research them and find a way to present them favorably to your target audience.

5. Try to have a conversation

Interviews are one of the most powerful types of content you can create. Assuming you work with an influencer, you get additional publicity and a reputation for your work, and it doesn't take much time or resources to get started. Introductory video and audio equipment are reasonably available, and you must prepare the questions you want to ask before the interview. You can then convert the interview to any medium you want (including video, audio, and written transcripts).

6. Invite guest contributors

You get the benefit of original, well-written posts for your blog, authors gain the benefit of increased exposure, and you won't have to pay a dollar per transaction (although you'll want to spend some time editing this content). In addition, countless aspiring writers would love the opportunity to gain exposure and credibility through guest posting; many of them have excellent work to share.

7. Crowdsource your content

If you're not interested in an open call with guest writers outside of your company, ask your team members to occasionally write a blog post on a topic they think might interest your customers.
